DJ FAQ'S
What kind of DJ are you? what kind of music do you play?
I am what is know as an open format DJ. What that means is that I play whatever the client wants. This includes, but is not limited to, Top 40, Pop, Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Country, EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Trap, Twerk, Glitch, Dubstep, Oldies, etc etc. Basically, I can play whatever you want me to play. I do not limit myself to any specific genre of music.
What kind of events do you play?
I play and have played at many different types of events, both corporate and private. I have played weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvah's, bars, retirement parties, school proms and homecomings, and other assorted venues. Each performance is customized based on the age group and the venue, as well as the client's specific requests. I can rage with the best of them, or provide simple background music. It's up to the client.
But certainly you have a favorite type of music, right? What are you passionate about?
I am into production of songs as well as simply spinning them. I enjoy blending songs together, as well as creating mashups of multiple songs. For clients unfamiliar with this, google artists such as DJ Earworm, White Panda, or GirlTalk. These are some pretty solid examples of what you could expect to hear from a mashup.
Why should I hire a DJ? Can't I just plug in my iPhone into an AUX jack and save hundreds of dollars?
There are always less expensive ways to achieve something. Why go to the movies when you have NetFlix? why eat out when you can eat in? The answer, quite simply put, is that by hiring myself, or any professional DJ, you receive a new level of quality and class that your venue or event may have been lacking. As someone who has been DJ'ing for almost 10 years professionally, I consider myself as an artist, with my turntables being a canvas. Depending on the event, you can expect to hear new and original music that you most likely wouldn't hear on the radio (I can play whatever you want though). DJ'ing involves beat matching, cross fading, scratching, and many more elements that require skill and technique. It's an art.
Is your music appropriate for all ages?
Yes. I play plenty of middle school and high school dances, sweet 16's, and events of that nature. Like stated previously, I am an open format DJ and I can tailor my material to any age group. I could spin for toddlers if that's what the client wanted. That does not mean that if the audience or client is a bunch or Frat Bros or Bikers, I couldn't change the music content. Obviously what I would play at a bachelor party wouldn't be the same thing I would play at a middle school dance, but I am equipped for either event. I can't control what someone would get offended by, but all shows for all ages or kids specifically would only contain radio friendly edits.
How much do you charge and how long do you play for?
Pricing varies based on the type of venue, length of event, and how far I have to travel. Just contact me and give me the information about your event, and I will give you a price quote. Currently, I will meet and beat any other professional DJ's price, but that is subject to change at any time. Price includes set up time, break down time, travel time, and customization of my set for the client in a way that most private DJ's don't provide. Some events will come with a free mixtape customized for the specific client. Examples of these events include but are not limited to: sweet sixteens, weddings, Bar and Bat Miztvah's and Birthday Parties..
How do I hire you for an event?

The best way to contact me is by email though. You can also reach out to me through Facebook. My Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/djpandemik. Free Mix Tapes you say?
Yes. On my SoundCloud, you can stream and download free music. The music is clean, and mostly top 40 unless otherwise stated. Mixes are recorded live as a set, and therefore they are one continuous song, usually about an hour long. They will always be 100% free to download or stream. These mixes are a great example of the music I enjoy playing most, but they are not a definitive example of the only type of music I play. If you dislike a mix based on content, this does not mean that if you hired me this is what type of music I would play. the mixes are simply compilations of the most popular songs at the moment.
