Team Up For 1 is a relatively new children's charity based in the greater Baltimore/Washington DC area. The organization works closely with children who have either terminal illnesses or physical or mental disabilities, and matches them up with a local professional college or University sports team. The team "adopts" the child, and really works to make that child feel special. It is a great experience for the child, the families, and the teams, who really seem to enjoy being a positive part of the adopted child's life.
I am really excited and honored to be the official DJ for this charity, and I will be helping them kick off their first event, at the end of this month, at Jimmy's Seafood in Baltimore.
